New addition to the Schaefer family!

We have a new addition to the Schaefer family - the beautiful Teagan Joy!

Here she is with big sister Eva!

I was recently reading Your Destiny by the Allums, where she (the author) was talking about the difference between conception and creation. God gave her a revelation of God creating people - He was laughing, whistling, and singing a different song over each person (Zep 3:17), and she knew creating people was what God liked the most. He was relaxed and enjoying every minute of it.

Conception is a completely human act but as it takes place God takes over and creates - He chooses to create. It is a complete divine act, there are no accidents.

And in Heaven we are not called or known by our earthly identity (John the angry man) but as God created you to be (John the pastor). I love thinking about these truths as I think on little Teagan Jy - wondering what song and what name has been spoken over her identity! Can't wait to find out what the Lord has in store for her!!

Scotland Scotland Scotland...

If you didn't figure it out Haley and I took a trip to Scotland!

Coast of St. Andrews - this was my favorite destination of the trip!

The 18th hole!

Something cool about seeing this in person, since I have watched the great putts on TV!

Just beautiful!

Car ride home from St. Andrews - amazing sunset - great Jesus time to say the least!

Sunday afternoon at Loch Lomond

Edinburgh - Royal mile with our Starbucks

Does it get more Scottish than this?!

Nope I guess it does! Haley was all excited the Queen was going to be around for pictures in the afternoon and then quickly disappointed when we told her the real queen has been dead for quite some time!!! This kept me laughing alll day!

Haley made me go in the Castle ....all I am going to say...

Although we did get this view from the Castle so it was all worth it!

Paul & Elaine Salina - our two wonderful hosts! What a blessing they were to say the least! We loved every minute with you two!!

Flowers in my room and everything - the Salina hotel is where it's at!

Did I mention we had some great food?! This ice cream place was famous I think...or it should be if it's not! Man I am an awful tourist!

AND yep....more good food! Yes that's ice cream on pancakes - these Scots know what's up!

Some traditional Haggis - yummy in my tummy!

Special thanks to our wonderful hosts Paul & Elaine - you guys were amazing!!

Bit of fun...

This is my lovely and crazy friend, Kath. She's the kind of friend, that even when I just think about her I smile and probably laugh to myself...

Below are a few snapshots of my first trip to the Cinema with Vanessa, Ally, Helen & I.

And if you are wondering we went to The Vow, I give it a 6 out of 10.

This weekend I was privileged to go to my first beach town in England - Scarborough!

Nick, Adam, Pippa, and Rachel - quite the team!

Day started off great with a Vanilla Latte, the sun in my face, and the sea about 200 yards in front of me!

We had a great plans of building a magnificent sand castle, needless to say the shovels didn't get used at all.

AND the highlight of my day!! Bumper cars - who knew they could be so fun!!
